About Heather
I earned my undergraduate degree from Temple University in elementary education. I then earned my Master’s degree in mathematics curriculum and design from Walden University. I am a certified teacher in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. I had earned numerous teaching awards including the Lindback award for Distinguished Teaching. I have been a classroom teacher for 20 years and pride myself on teaching students to learn that we are all math people!

I have been an elementary math teacher for 20 years. I’ve taught grades 2-8 including pre-algebra and algebra one. My goal is to create personalized lessons that meet students at their just right level so they can build upon their previous knowledge and deepen their mathematical understanding.
