About Nicole
With an extensive background of 11 years in debate, public speaking contests, poem recitation and as a TED Talk speaker, I bring a wealth of real-world experience to my teaching. I am not just passionate about teaching public speaking and Chinese language, but my primary goal is to boost your self-confidence which is a vital skill in all areas of life.
My professional journey has equipped me with the practical skills and insights that I now pass on to my students. I have walked the same path that many of you are on, and I understand the challenges it can present. This allows me to provide guidance that is not just theoretical, but also grounded in real-life experience.

As a native Chinese tutor with a history as a TED Talk speaker in English, my approach to teaching is immersive and engaging. I firmly believe in customised learning, so I tailor my lessons to each student's unique needs and goals. My lessons are conducted online, providing flexibility and comfort to my students. We will dive deep into Chinese & English language and public speaking techniques, using a variety of interactive methods such as role-play, real life scenarios and constructive feedback to make learning enjoyable and effective. My prior experience in national debate competition and representative of public speaking contests allow me to bring unique insights and practical tips to my students, helping them not only master the language, but also become confident public speakers.
