About Miles
My teaching approach is centred on communication, understanding, and adaptability. I believe that every student learns differently, so I adjust my lessons to match their unique learning style. Whether a student learns better through reading, writing, listening, or discussion, I make sure the lessons are engaging, clear, and enjoyable. My goal is to help each student gain confidence in expressing ideas and using English effectively in daily life and academics. I use real-life examples and case studies to make English more relatable and practical. This helps students connect classroom learning to real situations like writing essays, preparing résumés, or improving conversation skills. I also focus on developing reading comprehension, grammar, creative writing, public speaking, and critical thinking. Along with English, I teach communication skills, résumé writing, and classic literature. I create a positive and motivating space where students feel encouraged to ask questions, share opinions, and grow at their own pace. My aim is not just to teach English but to inspire curiosity and lifelong learning.

I am an experienced English tutor with over 3 years of teaching high school and college students. I have guided more than 300 students in improving their grammar, writing, reading comprehension, and overall communication skills. My lessons are designed to build strong language foundations while helping students express themselves confidently and clearly. My teaching philosophy is based on patience, encouragement, and understanding. I believe every student learns differently, so I adapt my lessons to suit their individual needs and pace. By using interactive discussions and practical exercises, I make learning both effective and enjoyable. I specialise in literacy, résumé writing, and classic literature, helping students prepare for both academic and real-world success. Many of my students have shown great improvement in their grades and writing abilities. My goal is to inspire confidence, creativity, and a lasting love for the English language in every learner I teach.
