My Tutoring Approach

I combine a communicative approach with interactive activities, engaging materials, and real-life contexts to make learning enjoyable and practical. I offer a range of lessons designed to cater to different learning objectives, including:
Conversational English: Focused on improving fluency and confidence in everyday conversations.
Reading Comprehension: Enhancing understanding of written texts, from simple passages to complex literature.

Languages of Instruction
While my primary focus is on teaching English, I am also learning and have basic conversational skills in French & Lingala. This allows me to connect with students who may feel more comfortable starting their language journey in their native language.
What to Expect in a Typical Lesson
Students can expect a dynamic and interactive learning experience. Each lesson begins with a warm-up activity to engage and assess current knowledge. We then move into the main lesson, where we cover the planned topic through various exercises, discussions, and multimedia resources. Finally, we wrap up with a recap and set goals for the next session. Homework is also provided to reinforce learning between lessons.
