About Lara

I am an experienced university finance lecturer with a strong academic background and extensive experience teaching undergraduate students in finance, investments, portfolio management, corporate finance, entrepreneurial finance, and personal financial management.

Throughout my teaching career, I have worked with students from diverse academic backgrounds, helping them understand challenging financial concepts, strengthen their analytical and problem-solving skills, and build confidence in their abilities.

My experience in higher education has given me a solid understanding of university course requirements, examination expectations, and the difficulties students commonly encounter when studying finance. I take pride in making even the most complex topics approachable through clear explanations, practical examples, and personalized guidance.

About the lesson

As an experienced university finance lecturer, I believe that learning finance should go beyond memorizing formulas and theories. My teaching approach focuses on making complex financial concepts clear, practical, and easy to understand, while helping students develop the confidence and analytical skills needed to succeed academically and professionally.

My Teaching Methodology

I adapt my teaching style to each student's academic level, learning pace, and individual needs. I combine clear explanations of financial theories with real-world examples, practical exercises, case studies, and step-by-step problem-solving techniques. My goal is to help students understand not only how to solve financial problems, but also the reasoning behind each concept and its application in real financial decisions.

What to Expect During a Typical Lesson

Each session begins with a brief assessment of the student's understanding and identification of areas requiring additional support. I then explain the relevant concepts using straightforward language, examples, and visual explanations when appropriate. Students work through practical questions and numerical exercises with my guidance, followed by independent practice and constructive feedback.
