My Approach as a History Teacher 1. Student-Centered Learning I believe that students learn best when they are actively involved in the process. I aim to: Encourage curiosity by asking open-ended questions. Let students explore multiple perspectives rather than memorize dates and events. Adapt lessons to different learning styles (visual, auditory, kinesthetic). 2. Storytelling Method History is, at its core, the story of people and societies. I bring it to life by: Framing each lesson like a narrative with characters, conflict, and resolution. Using real-life stories, historical documents, and primary sources. Making historical events relatable by drawing connections to current issues. Final Thought History is not just about the past—it's about understanding the present and shaping the future. My goal is to help students become informed, thoughtful citizens who can think critically, understand complexity, and appreciate the human story.
