About Amber
I am a Masters student studying a Master of International Relations at the University of Melbourne. I have over six years of experience in teaching children of 3 years old --> adults in a multitude of academic and sports environments. During my time as a student, I have spent a year in Kuwait learning Arabic, and have travelled to over 30 countries throughout my Undergraduate and Masters degrees. Overseas, I maintained professional relationships with numerous Australian and foreign Ambassadors.

My teaching method differs due to my preference to cater for different ages and levels of students.
High school children:
- Teaching students how to write political and humanities essays that impress VCE examiners (SACs and exams)
- Teaching students how to research for VCE and university
- Plagiarism prevention
- Assisting students with ideas and discussions of case studies and real-world examples
- Helping students to arrange and express their thoughts on paper
- Basic essay writing help
Undergraduate students:
- Essay writing help and exam preparation
- Assistance in referencing: teaching students how to use different referencing styles such as Harvard, Chicago and Oxford
- Plagiarism prevention
- Assisting students with ideas and discussions of case studies and international relations theories
- Helping students to arrange and express their thoughts on paper
If students are able to notify me beforehand with what specific topics they want to focus on, I can prepare for the class to help students get the most out of their tutoring session (and money!). However, if there is nothing specific to focus on, I am still able to help and we will for sure find something!
