About Mjkjobs

I've been teaching for 22 years both in person and virtually predominately in grades K-4th grade. I have a Masters in Education Curriculum and Instruction specializing in Reading, Bachelors in Education, and several special certifications in different reading methods. I've taught hundreds of struggling readers to read with consistent structured, explicit, engaging lessons that are fun and meet their needs. Lessons are fun, build confidence, and give students what they need to develop and grow as a reader. I'm known for helping students that have struggled for years develop into strong confident readers. I'm experienced in teaching all elementary subjects. (concealed information)

I had the pleasure of teaching with Melinda Krise. She is an excellent, knowledgeable teacher . She knows the curriculum she is teaching and has also the education and experience to back this up. Through her teaching, Melinda created many opportunities for students successful learning. I enjoyed subbing for her when I retired because she always left excellent lesson plans.
