About José Rubén
I am a mathematician, I am 25 years old and throughout my career as a student I have been teaching as an extra activity. The four types of positions I have had are: i) Private teacher. I have given private lessons to both high school students and university students, such as students from Tec de Monterrey. ii) Assistant teacher. I have taught two courses at UNAM, one as a title teacher and another as an assistant professor. In both cases he went to first semester students. iii) Olympic trainer. One of the tasks I have done is to give training to the participants of the Mexican Mathematics Olympiad at the state level. iv) Trainer. I taught a two-day intensive course to high school teachers. The course was titled "Natural Methods for Problem Solving".

My teaching methodology is through the explanation of both theory and practice. Through examples, the student develops intuition to then understand the abstract theory. An appropriate class is not only to teach how to calculate mechanically but to show the reasoning of each idea. This helps the student to understand the subject in a better way.
