About Riddhi

I hold a Master's degree in Physics and am currently pursuing M.Ed. My academic work included a research project at IIT Ropar. Having studied under both ICSE and CBSE curricula and taught students from CBSE, ICSE, IB, IGCSE, and other boards, I understand the unique requirements of different educational systems.

I am passionate about helping students build strong conceptual understanding, improve problem solving skills, and gain confidence in their studies through personalized and engaging lessons.

Tell us more about your subject. How did you develop an interest in this field?
I have always been fascinated by how small things explain the big picture, like how invisible forces and patterns shape everything we see. Science and maths gave me a language to make sense of that curiosity. They turned “why does this happen?” into something I could explore, not just wonder about.
What or who is the motivation behind you choosing to teach & why?
I wanted to become a teacher because I have seen how right guidance can completely change a student’s confidence. Many students struggle not because they are weak, but because no one ever explained things in a way that clicked. Teaching gives me the chance to change this and to make learning clear, meaningful, and something they can actually enjoy.
How does your work help society?
I believe good teaching can shape how young people think. It teaches them logic, patience, and curiosity. My goal is to make students feel confident and capable to think 'out of the box' as they hold the potential to make this world a better place by their ideas and inventions.
If you had to think of a role model for your work, who do you think of & why?
My role model is youtuber Derek Muller from Veritasium. His videos changed the way I look at science and they made me think beyond the obvious. He explores everyday phenomena in such a curious, thought provoking way that it pushes you to look for patterns, ask better questions, and stay genuinely amazed by how the world works.
Tell us about your hobbies outside teaching.
Outside teaching, I love reading books that help me understand life, mindset, and human behavior. I also enjoy working out, journaling, meditation, and yoga. These practices help me stay grounded and bring balance to my days.
Do you have an anecdote to tell us about your student or professional life?
Some of my students start out shy and they take time to open up and express themselves. But after a few classes, I notice a beautiful shift. They begin to ask questions, share their thoughts, and even smile more during lessons. That quiet transformation is what I enjoy the most about teaching. Since I am not much older than many of my students, they often find it easier to connect and learn comfortably with me. Our classes feel less like formal lectures and more like friendly, open discussions where they can explore ideas without fear of being wrong.
