About Ian
I am a computer programming tutor with 12 years of experience teaching high school and college students. My computer programming lessons focus on understanding logic before memorising code. I teach Java together with Object-Oriented Programming, Data Structures, Algorithms, JDBC, APIs, debugging skills, and basic software design. I adapt to each student’s learning speed and preferred style using visuals, discussions, and hands-on practice. I stay flexible by changing explanations and examples when concepts feel difficult.
