About Nishika
I am currently a teaching assistant working with a child with learning difficulties one-to-one in English and Maths. I have over 8 years of experience working with children and I am soon to complete a Masters in Child Psychology.

When I first meet the student we go through exercises in reading, writing and speaking to assess what level the child is at. Once assessed, before each lesson I will assign either reading or comprehension. During the lesson, we will go through it together and answer questions at their own pace. I will then correct particular grammar, spelling mistakes and sentence structures. I will assign work to be completed for the next lesson that we will mark together and then move onto the next topic. I will set specific work according to the child's capability and progress, as well as utilise different methods of working with children at different academic levels.
