About Eli

I am a dedicated Spanish tutor with four years of experience, passionate about helping high school and college students discover the beauty of the Spanish language. Throughout my career, I have taught over 150 students, guiding them to achieve their language goals and build confidence in their speaking and writing skills.

One of my proudest milestones was helping a group of students prepare for their AP Spanish exam, where they all achieved scores that opened doors to advanced placement in college. I believe that education is a powerful tool, and I strive to create a supportive and engaging learning environment. My goal is to inspire students to embrace the language and culture while developing a lifelong love for learning. Together, we can embark on this exciting journey of language discovery!

About the lesson

My teaching methodology for Spanish focuses on creating a positive and engaging learning environment. I use real-life examples and case studies to make lessons relatable and practical. By connecting language learning to everyday situations, I help students see the value of Spanish in their daily lives.

Motivation is a key part of my approach. I encourage students to set personal goals and celebrate their progress, which boosts their confidence and keeps them excited about learning. I also use problem-solving techniques to help students navigate challenges. When students encounter difficulties, I guide them to find solutions, making them feel empowered in their learning journey.

Integrity is important to me; I strive to build trust with my students, creating a safe space where they can express themselves freely. Flexibility is another essential element. I adapt my teaching style to meet the unique needs of each student, ensuring that everyone feels comfortable and engaged. Besides Spanish, I can also teach related subjects, enriching the overall learning experience.
