About Alun
Graduate with mathematics and statistics degree from McMaster, preparing defense of master's degree in computational number theory. I have TA'd >10 classes in mathematics, and been privately tutoring since I was 14. I treat each student uniquely to their needs.

I teach mathematics, but that also means that I am able to teach many other disciplines, and anything that requires logical thought. The decision as to whether a lesson should be student-led or tutor-led is dependent on the student themselves and their needs. For example, if a student is in need of help with homework and understanding what they learn in class that day, then it would be a student-led session where we go through and try to help them keep up and be prepared for the next class's content. If a student is in need of help and understanding what they learn in class that day but without the rigor of homework or assignments, then it would be a tutor-led session where we go through and try to help them with the content that they need that day, week, month, and year. I can tutor any grade level up to and including undergraduates, and graduate math depending on the subject area.

Details
In-person sessions, if viable, are charaged at a higher rate of $35, whereas remote sessions (which I stand-by as the better option) are only changed at a rate of $30 to reflect the difference in effort to undertake the session.
