About Ting
I am from China and my mother language is Mandarin. I am a master at the University of Sheffield and my major is Education. I have experience in teaching Mandarin and I am a friendly and patient tutor. My students always regard me as their friends and they all like me very much. I normally encourage students to share their thoughts with me and then I will give them positive responses.
I set a low price for my teaching not because I am not professional but I want to make friends with others and get more teaching experience. I am a researcher on education and I want to know more about student's learning experience. I welcome anyone to join my class. Thank you!

I prefer to have conversations on a specific topic with my students in Chinese. In the conversation, I would find out inappropriate expressions and provide a better one. The whole process seems like a chat between friends, rather than learning process. And the most thing is not how I teach but what the student likes.
