About Teresa
I was raised on a farm in The Midwest. The moment a piano arrived in our home I was intrigued and drawn to music and understanding more of it. I enjoyed all types of music and if my teacher didn’t teach me new pop music I learned it on my own. I started playing an organ for church at 12 years old and played in band and sang in choir. Music became a special place for me as a personal emotional and mental release. In church music was a spiritual connection for me to feel purposeful in my pursuit to share in worship and praise.
I can share the joy of learning the most difficult classical pieces that I learned as I studied with a concert pianist or I can teach you how to play jazz, rock, pop and more.
I can share how to play chord lead sheets and show you how to play your favorite
Songs.
Music unlocks your creativity and creates emotional maturity in the student. I enjoy being a part of the process and watching my student develop through music.

My lifetime experiences as a student of music since 7 and continuing in all music studies available through university with lessons with world renowned Dr Ruth SlencZynska have helped me become a great communicator of secret techniques and practice routines that will have you playing and reading music quicker than you expect.
I can hear and watch your hands and If there is a problem, i know how to modify what you are doing immediately. You will learn how to correct mistakes on your own and be able to sight read quickly if you follow some simple steps.
Best of all ,I teach with sincere love for music and a light hearted fun approach that will leave you happy about every lesson.
