About Lisa

My name is Lisa Evans. I taught public school for31 years teaching kindergarten, first grade and pre-k. If you love reading Magic Treehouse Books, I won The Magic Treehouse National Teacher of the Year! I love these books and had my kids at school doing wonderful things with them.

About the lesson

I use different strategies that help children enjoy learning.

* through songs
* good children's books
* poems
*hands on manipulation

It is my job to meet the children level/needs and not them meet mine
