About Mallory
My teaching method for performers like The Quartet Player and The Fiddler centers on building stage confidence, strong vocal technique, and expressive presence. I help singers master breath control, posture, and diction specifically for the demands of live performance. Microphone technique becomes second nature through hands-on practice, tailored to both group harmony and solo moments. We work on audience engagement through eye contact, phrasing, and storytelling—essential tools for captivating a room. Song choices are curated to match each singer’s personality and emotional strengths, helping them feel grounded and authentic on stage. Movement exercises are woven into lessons to develop fluidity, comfort, and personal style. We use video feedback to analyze performances, highlighting progress and refining stage presence. Stage drills simulate real performance situations so singers learn to manage nerves and stay in control. Vocal stamina apps and exercises support endurance and consistency over longer sets. Together, we build not just technical skill, but a sense of self-belief and performance charisma. The goal is to make the stage feel like home. Whether you're harmonizing in a quartet or fiddling center stage, your voice and presence can truly shine.

I’m a dedicated vocal coach with over 6 years of experience and a Licentiate of Music in Voice. I specialize in working with adult beginners, hobbyists, and those returning to singing after a long break. My lessons are designed to be a low-pressure, encouraging space where you can reconnect with your voice without fear or judgment.
I focus on breathwork, vocal relaxation, and posture to help you build a strong, healthy foundation. Together, we explore mindfulness in music—using awareness to unlock ease, presence, and expression. Tone development is a key part of my approach, and I love helping singers discover the unique beauty in their sound.
