Think Before You Choose a Chess Trainer!
I've noticed something interesting about chess training fees—some people charge 100 rupees per hour, some charge 300 rupees per hour, others ask for 600 rupees per hour, and some even demand 1000 rupees per hour! But does a higher fee always mean better knowledge? And does a lower fee mean lack of expertise? Absolutely not! This is a big misconception.
When it comes to choosing a chess trainer, don’t let price be your only deciding factor. Just because someone charges more doesn’t automatically mean they are better, and just because someone charges less doesn’t mean they lack expertise.
How to Identify a Genuine Chess Trainer?
If you are serious about improving your chess skills, don't just look at the price tag—look at their skills! Honestly request them to share a video of themselves solving chess puzzles on YouTube.
If they are truly skilled, they will be happy to provide proof of their expertise.
If they ignore your request or make excuses, it’s a red flag—just ignore them too!
On the other hand, a trainer who avoids proving their skills, refuses to share a sample of their gameplay, or gives vague excuses should make you think twice.
