About Florence
Having studied for many years to now having a professional career as a Chemist, I have benefited at various points from the vital support of peers, teachers and professors, and tutors. I appreciate that Chemistry is not a subject which comes easily to everyone, yet having worked through (and at points been very challenged by!) the subject to a high level, I remain deeply enthusiastic about it. I’m keen to help support students to see Chemistry not as just a subject to ‘get through’ but one in which real interest, satisfaction and enjoyment can be found. There are endless fascinating areas which a solid grounding will enable you to engage with, and I truly believe it’s a science which is very manageable when broken down and understood properly.
