About Cheryl
I am currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Guidance and Counseling at James Cook University, Singapore. My academic training has strengthened my ability to analyze psychological theories, construct structured arguments, and write with clarity and precision.
Throughout my postgraduate training, I have developed strong skills in critical evaluation, case conceptualization, and research-based writing. I understand the challenges many students face when trying to translate complex psychological concepts into clear, well-structured academic essays.

My lessons focus on strengthening analytical thinking and academic writing skills in Psychology and related social science disciplines.
Rather than re-teaching textbook content, I help students understand how to interpret assignment briefs, develop strong arguments, structure essays clearly, and apply psychological concepts with depth and precision.
I specialise in:

Case study breakdown and application of theory

Sessions are structured yet personalised. I begin by understanding the specific assignment requirements and the student’s current writing level. From there, I guide students through step-by-step frameworks to organise their ideas, strengthen evaluation, and refine their written expression.
