About BENJAMIN
Coming from a low income household, education has been an important role in my life. My parents supported my learning in every way possible.
Education is a virtue above all else. It teaches understanding of the world and critical skills in navigating life.
My aim is to teach students in science and goal is to teach students how to succeed in life.

My approach to learning involves utilising concrete examples. For example, the universe likes to be low energy (otherwise we would disintegrate into atoms) by understanding how abstract ideas of entropy can be like a holiday. We would rather be relaxed than busy.
I use the teach, check and practice method. Where we look at topics, check for understanding then practice questions.
I am aiming to do this for an hour. However, if sessions over run I do not charge extra as the goal is to support understanding and not my pockets.
I am a science teacher who can support with maths in science and extended writing to bands 5-6 marks on high level questions
I can teach from all secondary school ages (Year 7 to 11)
