About Megan
Hi my name is Megan and I'm a Mathematics masters graduate from the University of Cambridge with an undergraduate degree in Mathematical Physics from the University of Nottingham. Over the last 7 years I have enjoyed tutoring several students both online and in-person to GCSE and A-level and it's been great to watch students grow in confidence and even learn to enjoy maths! I like to think that I am non-judgemental and supportive and would love to work with you to improve your maths and physics :)

I work on a student-based approach allowing students to develop a self-understanding of their own strengths and weaknesses which I structure the sessions around. I also make use of spaced repetition to ensure that content and techniques covered are retained in long-term memory. Sessions can be half an hour or an hour and can accommodate KS3, 4 or Year 12 students either to prepare for exams or to build subject or classroom confidence.

Megan tutored my daughter in preparation for her gcse maths for over a year. She put my nervous daughter at ease almost straight away and was always very patient and kind. She was really good at identifying her areas of strength and weakness and then focusing on, and practicing in those areas. My daughter’s confidence in maths improved and so did her enjoyment of the subject. Megan was really great and I would highly recommend her.
