About Jonathan
I am an experienced tutor with a Masters in Maths and Statistics from the University of Cambridge. I enjoy the process of helping students who have a passion for learning difficult subjects such as maths and physics.
Having tutored for over 5 years, I have helped many students turn around their academic performance over the course of a few weeks.

I aim to make sure that students are confident in their ability to tackle new problems in their subject and gain the necessary skills to do so.
I generally aim to teach students to be able to explain back the concept in their own words, recite important definitions and formulae, and to be able to apply those formulae to exercises. Through practice and repetition, students will be confident working with challenging topics in their curriculum.
The typical length of a lesson is 45-60 minutes.
I have experience tutoring students at the level of GCSE and A-levels. These students have excelled in exam performances, and achieved their first choice courses for university as a result.
The lessons are for any student at GCSE level and above.
