About Hazel
I am a 26 year old Kiwi girl from Hawkes Bay. I have spent the past 5 years living in Dunedin completely a Masters of International Studies and am now seeking part time digital work as I travel within New Zealand and Overseas.
I have found I always loved to teach. As soon as I understand a topic I seem to spend my time helping others understand it too. I believe that everything is able to be understood by everyone it often just takes the right words to explain it and I pride myself on always finding a way to do this. It brings me to join work with others and seem them feel proud to have really got something. As a tutor I want to help you master your grades and enjoy all of your topics.

Students of mine always succeed because I pay close attention to the exact area/topic/field you are struggling with and work out a personalised way to improve.
I am extremely patient and therefore offer an environment where the student can really take their time to get it right. I believe it is important to feel comfortable to take as long as you need and ask as many questions as required to fully understand what is being learnt. As it is through full understanding something that it is not easily forgotten. To do this I encourage the student to explain to me in their own words what they have understood.
As a tutor I have taught Piano to many students, tutored maths classes one on one and held tutorial groups for Level 1 Political Philosophy at Otago University while I completed my Master in International Relations.
