I am passionate about English and am seeking to become a secondary teacher in the subject. I graduated with a 2:1 in my undergraduate degree, and am in the process of completing a Masters where I am on track to receive a Distinction.

My teaching method is to encourage students to see what is beautiful, what is fascinating, maybe even what is worrying in a text, and apply it to the context of their day-to-day lives. So often, Literature is seen as a stuffy, elitist, out-of-touch subject, but in reality, it is one of the greatest tools we have at our disposal to make sense of the world around us.
