About Jivya
I hold a Master’s degree in Mathematics and have spent the past 5 years teaching students at various academic levels, from high school to university. My academic background has provided me with a deep understanding of mathematical theories, and I enjoy translating those into simpler, digestible lessons for my students. I believe that mathematics is not just about numbers—it’s about logic, patterns, and problem-solving. Throughout my teaching experience, I have worked with students preparing for competitive exams, completing university coursework, or simply aiming to strengthen their understanding of key topics such as Calculus, Linear Algebra, and Differential Equations. I focus on creating a positive and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes as part of the learning journey. What drives me as an educator is seeing students grow in both skill and confidence. I continuously adapt my teaching methods to meet individual learning needs, using a combination of explanation, visual aids, and practice to ensure retention and comprehension. My math lessons are structured to build strong foundational understanding while also tackling complex concepts with clarity. Each session begins with a clear objective and a step-by-step breakdown of the topic. I integrate examples and visual methods wherever possible to make abstract concepts like Calculus or Linear Algebra more intuitive and relatable.
The lessons cover a variety of topics including Differential Equations, ensuring that students grasp both the theory and application. Whether it’s solving integrals, analyzing matrices, or modeling physical systems mathematically, the lessons are adapted to suit each student’s pace and learning style. I also encourage active participation through practice problems and open discussions, allowing students to strengthen their problem-solving techniques.
Beyond the standard curriculum, I offer support with assignments and exam preparation. This includes revising previous content, solving past papers, and developing time-management strategies for timed assessments. My aim is not only to improve academic performance but also to cultivate confidence and independent thinking in every learner.
