About Emil
I’ve been a high school math teacher, a professional engineer, and a developer of financial algorithms. Throughout my career, the common thread has been a drive to always keep on learning and a desire to teach others what I know.
Beyond the classroom, I have spent years tutoring university students privately. I've helped students navigate high-pressure exams. I've helped them walk away with much stronger grades than expected, even in exams with over 50% failure rates. I’m passionate about teaching and always looking for better ways to help students succeed.

Throughout my time as a high school teacher and a university-level tutor, I’ve worked with students of many different levels. I've learned to adapt to every student as needed.
For those who struggle and find math intimidating, our first goal is overcoming that fear. I help you "activate" by starting with manageable problems, gradually building your confidence until you reach autonomy. You don’t need to be a "math person" to succeed; you just need to start practicing and building a routine.
For students looking to score highly on standardized tests—like the SAT, GRE, MCAT, TEAS, GMAT—the strategy shifts to preparing with as much specificity for the particular exam as we can. We work through actual past exams to master speed, accuracy, and exam tactics.
