About Orla
I am a Masters student studying Economics and Policy with plans to pursue a PhD in Economics in the next year or so. I've always loved teaching and helping students to understand how to confront topics in economics. I believe in working together to get to a better place of understanding and I always strive for good results. I am a dedicated person when it comes to fulfilling and performing tasks that need to be done to ensure the very best for my students. This trait of mine has guaranteed my own academic success within the classroom. Evidence of this success are the results that I received in my undergraduate degree where I ranked 1st in my class and obtained a first-class honours average. Currently, as a masters student at King's College London, I am also performing well academically. I have so far received high first-class grades in subjects such as Advanced Microeconomics, Macroeconomics and Advanced Econometrics. My goal as a tutor is to guide students towards the right direction and to offer sound advice on careers, university and courses! I can't wait to work with you!

My lessons are one-to-one sessions, which allows both the student and myself to really go deeper into the core problems in Economics and to learn creative ways to solve them. Lessons are usually 1-2 hours depending on the material that needs to be covered. I have experience in private tutoring for students doing A-level Economics.

She is honestly the best tutor ever!! I struggled with economics for 2 years whilst doing the leaving cert and contacted her for extra help. My grades went from 40-50% in 5th year to 80% in sixth year and eventually achieving a h1 90-100% in the leaving cert. Highly recommend!!!
