About Daniel
For the last 2 years, I've taught both lab courses and theoretical courses for the material science department at UIUC. I recently graduatuated with a double degree Material science and Engineering Physics. The great thing about my coursework is that I've taken classes in the ECE, Physics, Matse and Chemistry department. The broad range of undergrad coursework has given me a unique perspective to connect concepts and to explain them to each persons own style of reasoning.
In addition to teaching, I have over 4years of experience in materials research in STEM with the foremost labs across the state of IL, which I will try to incoporate in our classes as fun examples.

Structueally, I take time to organize a basic outline with a 1-3 min intro of the concepts we'll cover and leave about 5-7min at the end to summarize everything we covered.
Conceptually, I think pictures are key to understanding and conecting concepts. I try to draw and explain the details behind important processes as much as I can. In addition from my theoretical background, I try to show easy mathematical tricks and acronyms to summarize important concepts. Additionally, I like to work through examples which can be applied to real life scenarios in the STEM field.

I charge by the hour, and don't mind teaching multiple people at the same cost for the same time.
