About Yair
Hi everyone! I have a master's degree in science with a specialty in materials from the Research Center for Advanced Studies of the IPN (Cinvestav). I did a degree in chemistry at the University of Guanajuato and over the last few years I have developed an exceptional taste for teaching. I have been a private tutor for high school and university students who have had some difficulties in their subjects related to the exact sciences (physics, chemistry and mathematics). During my stay at the University I have been the winner of the recognition of university merit for 3 consecutive years and I have been the winner of the 5th annual meeting of young researchers in Guanajuato with my thesis project, part of it carried out abroad. During my master's degree I deepened my knowledge in physics and mathematics and developed another research project on photocatalytic semiconductor oxides.

Basically my teaching method is based on the application of the concepts seen in physics and chemistry. For example. Imagine that you want to know more about balancing chemical equations, in this case I would propose an activity that helps you practice not only with the equations themselves, but with more elaborate problems that will help you not only pass the exam but also master the subject completely when you want it. I like working as a team with my students, knowing what their difficulties are and starting from there to answer their questions. I also do dynamics and didactic games related to the subject of chemistry and physics. I am an enemy of tedious classes of various concepts, I like that the student works a lot but in a fun and passionate way on the subject.
