About Shokoofa
I am an Engineering student at the University of Toronto with 5+ years of experience in specialized tutoring and high school instruction.
I have experience teaching Advanced Functions (MHF4U) and Calculus (MCV4U) at a private high school, and I have successfully tutored over 50 students for AP courses and Contest preparation.
My background includes a strong foundation in theoretical and applied science: I was the sole female delegate on the Canada National Team for the 15th International Olympiad on Astronomy and Astrophysics.

Average! My daughter and I ended up missing the initial meeting for the first time among many tutors from superprof due to personal reason. I fully acknowledge that missing the meeting was my responsibility, and I expressed my sincere apologies along with proposed corrective measures to prevent such issues in the future. However, having those messages completely ignored felt unprofessional. Even when mistakes are made, I believe respectful communication and a willingness to move forward are important in any professional interaction.
Perfect! Shokoofa is not only amazing at making tough math problems simple, but she's also incredibly intelligent and patient. She has a way of explaining things that boosts his confidence. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a smart and friendly math tutor!

You definitely want to meet Shokoofa if you want to learn physics and math. She’s super knowledgeable and totally dominates whatever she’s teaching. Literally nothing gets missed. She’s patient enough to explain things a hundred times until it clicks, and on top of that she’s just a lovely person to be around. Everything you need from a tutor, she has it!
