I am a mathematics graduate student who has taught several full sized college algebra classes and privately tutored students in a variety of high school and university level mathematics courses. My experience also includes successfully tutoring students with learning disabilities.

My teaching method involves first working to improve the skills and knowledge that the student already has then working to teach new topics from this foundation. Learning math requires practice and after determining what the student already knows, I will have a better idea of what topics and questions the student would need to practice on to improve their understanding of the material.
