About Ambrose
I have experience instructing a wide range of subjects, from martial arts, to cello performance, to rock climbing. However, I am in my element when tutoring mathematics. I recently graduated magna cum laude with a B.S in Mathematics from Eastern Oregon University, and tutored throughout a large portion of my academic career. Although I received high marks, math did not come easily to me, so I understand the difficulties many students have with the subject. This is especially true since I am a recent graduate. Therefore in my teaching I strive to be as helpful as possible, explaining things in many different ways, and encouraging my students to be patient with themselves as they grow their mathematical minds. I have experience teaching a wide variety of people, from a wide range of backgrounds. These include middle and high school students, students with learning disabilities, college students, and non-traditional students returning to college after many years in the workforce.

I can also help prepare you for tests, and point you towards online learning resources that were helpful to me during my math studies.
I have experience remotely tutoring subjects from middle school to college level, and am looking forward to helping you with whatever mathematical topic you are struggling with!
