About Christopher
When I started teaching six years ago as a substitute, I found a knack for teaching small groups of students. When I became a general education teacher, I worked towards making my math lessons activity-based while rotating through small groups of students for personalized lessons.

There are many dynamics involved in finding the optimal tutor for your situation. My greatest growth stories come from a combination of personalized instruction, AND helping students improve "soft" skills such as perseverance, time management, and framing situations positively.
Some personalities clash with each other and while it is important to learn to work through these in life, tutoring is usually going to be a relatively short amount of time for this type of development. Sometimes the tutor with the glowing resume may not be as good as a fit for your student as another with less credentials, but can develop a constructive relationship with your student.
