About Omozusi
I began tutoring as a peer tutor, helping classmates across a range of subjects. By my preteen years, I expanded into creating personalized study guides, practice plans, and crash courses, along with offering one-on-one and small group tutoring. I have also volunteered in schools and organizations while continuing private tutoring.
While currently pursuing my BA in Applied Mathematics full-time, I teach in both public and private settings, specializing in K–college mathematics from foundational arithmetic through calculus. I also support homeschool students and learners whose primary instruction comes from other teachers by reinforcing and clarifying material in a personalized way.
I have worked with a wide range of learners, from elementary and middle school students building foundational skills to college-level learners and adults returning to math. My experience spans one-on-one tutoring, small groups, volunteer instruction, and structured private tutoring companies, as well as independent and self-directed roles.
This range of experience has given me insight into many different learning styles, challenges, and instructional systems. As a result, my teaching approach is highly personalized and focused on clarity, engagement, and long-term mastery. I prioritize strategies that help students build confidence, develop independence, and truly understand the material rather than simply complete assignments.

I offer homework help, test prep, corrections, and focused crash courses designed to produce fast, measurable improvement when paired with effort and consistency. My goal is to make math clear, approachable, and efficient so students can improve their grades while developing genuine understanding and confidence.
I build lessons from the ground up so students develop real understanding. Sessions are interactive and adaptive, centering students in the learning process as they work through ideas in an engaging, supportive environment. I use multiple approaches like graphing, algebraic methods, visual reasoning, and connections to previously learned material to help students see concepts from different angles until they click.
Instead of drilling boring problems, I guide students through the thinking process so they develop the tools to become independent problem-solvers. Lessons are collaborative conversations, where questions, reasoning, and exploration are encouraged. This keeps students actively involved and accountable in their learning while building confidence in topics they previously struggled with.
