About Ben
I've been giving lessons for 7 years, tutoring a wide variety of students in many different settings such as group tutoring, and one on ones. The students that I've taught, whether entering high school, or already in college, have not only improved in their mathematical skill and understanding, but also their mathematical appreciation for how interesting and unique math can actually be when taught from a relaxed, straightforward, and simplified perspective. Students have gone from not knowing how to do long division, to being able to consitently solve quadratic equations in a matter of a year or two. Whether it's remedial math, or a desire to advance your mathematical capabilities even futher, I'm willing to work with, and alongside whoever might need it.

My name is Ben Freer and I have multiple years of experience tutoring anywhere from an 8th grade knowledge in math to college level students, specifically with a focus on those students particularly far behind. I'm a very relaxed tutor, able to explain most concepts in numerous ways. I focus more energy into making sure the tuttee really has a firm grasp on the concept instead of pushing forward even if not ready to attain the grades.
