About Cisco
I am a current math major at Tufts University. I am a math major because I truly love math, which I know sounds ridiculous. I love the stories that we can tell through just the concept of the number line. I tutored middle and high school students when I was in high school and tutored elementary school students in college. I love teaching math and hopefully convincing my students of the beauty of the subject. A few things about me outside of math: I am from Kentucky, am 21 years old, love to cook, craft, and sit outside to find four leaf clovers.

My strength is teaching math from the ground up in a very visual way. I have taught addition to calculus successfully through visualizing and helping my student to see what is happening in the problem rather than just what is needed to write on the page.
I plan lessons entirely based around the students' needs and questions. My first lesson with a student generally assesses what fundamentals of the topic the student has a solid understanding of and what we need to dive deeper into. Each lesson thereafter build upon grasping those fundamentals and builds up a more concrete understanding of the higher level content of the topic.
