I recently graduated from college and have a degree in Mathematics with a certification in teaching middle school and high school. I have been giving lesson in schools as a student teacher for two years. I have taught in a regular HS setting as well as in tutoring groups.

My goal as a future educator is to encourage the curiosity in my students. I want my students to feel free to make decisions in my classroom, as well as having an unconditional authority to ask questions. Through clear and high expectations, I want my students to learn skills that will better them for the real world. With the behavioral strategies that I have learned, I know that I will be able to create a safer and more effective learning environment for all of my students to succeed. I want so see my students develop socially, cognitively, and morally in a healthy and productive environment. In such a stimulating subject such as Mathematics, I want to see students make sense of their own knowledge and find passion and understanding for the natural world.
