About Subhra
I have taught a number of high school and year 1 engineering students, basic and advanced topics in Math and physics on a one to one basis.
I have offered lessons to students over the past couple of years during.
I have taught the basics of engineering math and physics to a class of about 60 Year1 engineering students before starting my graduate studies.
I put myself in the shoes of the students before I prepare my lessons and this helps in making the teaching material, student-friendly.
To see a smile and a spark on the faces on my students after they have understood a concept brings me immense joy.
Apart from delivering lessons, I have mentored uni students with their
projects. This has helped me better understand the dynamics teaching and learning along with teaching itself.

I believe it is very important to understand the underlying story behind concepts in Math and Physics. The equation and derivations are just one side of the story. To understand a concept to its entirely, knowledge of its back-story is very important.
My teaching methodology commences with telling the story of 'why' a concept was derived and 'how' it works.
The equations and derivations shall follow after a thorough understanding of the underlying story are revealed. Understanding this makes Math and Physics,..... Cool!!
During my lessons, I plan to follow this approach over discussions and conversations to keep it casual.
