About Jonathan
I have tutored in math for three years, having helped out a few dozen people with their math homework. I helped get a number of fast food workers improve their math skills to pass the math aptitude test that used to be used for management, and have helped many others improve their grades rapidly at both the high school and introductory college levels. I have a Bachelor's degree in Physics from The Ohio State University and a Bachelor's degree in Statistics from Wright State University.

One of the things that seems to get a lot of success with algebra is showing students how certain concepts would work with numbers instead of variables to get the students to understand the concept better before moving over to using variables. I also use lots of drawings and visual aids to try to help understand why certain concepts are what they are.
