Nellie has been such a gift for our family. Our daughter (9) has been seeing Nellie for the last year for help with math. She has dyslexia, dysgraphia, and ADHD. Lucky for us, Nellie has the skills and experience to engage her, and to utilize different teaching methods to enhance her understanding. Nellie has a deep understanding of how to provide a meaningful online tutoring session by using multiple cameras and screens, and brings in a variety of tools and games to keep our girl's attention. Nellie is a kind, loving adult who builds our daughter up, helps her see how working hard contributes to skill acquisition, and makes math fun. We are very grateful to have her in our village.

I met Nellie through a mutual love of dance, but when my son was understimulated at school and needed to learn slightly higher level math in a fun and engaging way, Nellie taught him to find his own passion for numbers and calculation.

He loved the interactivity of her lessons, and he's still applying things he learned with her to his schoolwork!

Nellie's true gift is in exploring what style a child learns best through, and adapting her tutorials to help them grasp the subject matter in their own preferred method. My son is obsessed with games so Nellie often used them as part of the lesson as well as a reward he looked forward to for giving her his attention. Nellie also paced her lessons, so my son was able to avoid both boredom and overwhelm.
