About Carole
I have 22 years of experience in Marketing, Communication and Webmarketing, in France and abroad. I have just spent 2 years in Dublin and my partner is American/Canadian. I had the highest score in Mathematics at the Brevet des colleges, I had great results in the past to teach maths and have students pass to higher classes.

My methodology in math is to master the course first, then to do a maximum of exercises while adapting to the psychology of the student (if he/she rather has a concrete than abstract or based on experience mindset, with a visual / auditory memory etc) by making him trust himself, so that the day of the test he has no blockage. I'm not giving up anything and I've had very good results in the past. The student works a lot, but he is happy when he sees that he can quite be "good at maths". For English, it's more complicated because it's a subject that accumulates from year to year. So I don't promise to raise the level in a one shot of 2-3 weeks as it is almost unfeasible. Thanks to learning by heart some phrases and exercises - allowing the grammar to be learned by example - and above all to make it easy for the student to speak, I was able to help some students get by at the last minute. In the long run, I myself have a strict methodology to learn any language, since I'm passionate about them (I learned Japanese 20 years ago, starting from scratch).
