About Kirsten
I am a middle and high school math teacher with a Masters degree in mathematics learning and teaching. I have taught grades 5-12. I have taught 5th grade math, pre-algebra, algebra 1, and precalculus. I have also been private tutoring for 7 years. I have helped students succeed in their math courses and pass standardized tests.

I am willing to help middle and high school students who are struggling in their math courses (up to precalculus) and will offer one-on-one instruction. Working one-on-one allows me to see how I can best help each student. I try to give my students strategies and algorithms to help them make sense of the problems they are working on.
