About
I have been a private Mathematics Tutor for the past 22 years, tutoring students of ALL AGES and ALL LEVELS/GRADES in Mathematics (as young as 5 years old - middle school- high school- university level). I love what I do! I love helping students feel more prepared, empowered and confident with their math skills and personal education goals. My flexible, supportive, and patient approach empowers students to develop a strong foundation and confidence in their mathematical abilities.

My desire with each student is to meet you at your level, working to your specific needs and learning style, and then explaining the material the way YOU need it explained to you. Everyone is different in their foundation, needs and experience level. There is no “one size fits all”. Some students I tutor need weekly support and some students prefer to tutor as needed (For example, to study for an upcoming quiz or test). I am happy to help with both the immediate and long term needs of all students.
During our session I will provide a google document for you that has detailed notes and screen shots of any material we work on.
I do prefer to meet via Zoom, which has enabled me to better demonstrate visually using diagrams, graphs, charts, TI-84/83 graphing calculator, and/or other multimedia tools to illustrate mathematical concepts and relationships. Zoom also allows me the reliably to instruct (not needing to cancel for sickness as much), record meetings/instruction (if desired), keep illustrated notes (via google docs), and organize personalized,
one-on-one instruction for each of my students, all while in our session.
