About Naïma
Hi there! My name is Naima and I have been a math tutor in middle and high school classrooms for nearly a decade. Teaching math has always been a passion and a joy for me because I have a knack for breaking down challenging questions into approachable pieces.
I know math can feel intimidating and like a skill that some people have and some people just don't - I don't believe that! Math is all about having a good teacher and having the time to practice.
I tell my students that learning math is like learning a sport. If you've never playing hockey before in your life and you jumped right into the ice rink, you would be intimidated! But just like with math, if you have a good teacher to help you understand the concepts and you run the drills, you will eventually score your first goal. Once the confidence is there, it's just practice!
