About Lynette
I am a college student attending San Jose State and love tutoring. I am majoring in Aerospace Engineering, so physics has become my greatest frenemy. I enjoy building puzzles, driving, and hanging out with my friends. As for my math knowledge, I have completed all math up to partial differential equations, but I stay away from tutoring later classes because I am stronger in the younger math classes. I have passed my previous AP Calculus AB test with a 4 and AP Calculus BC with a 3. I am great with kids of all ages and have multiple years of experience with them, from tutoring to working at schools.

I like to start by asking if there are any topics the student will need improvement or help with. Then I will explain how to do practice problems and have the student try a few. If the student gets them all right, then we move on, if not we work out the kinks to improve. I have been tutoring for over a year and teaching is a mini passion of mine. One of my greatest achievements is I have pushed kids to grade levels ahead of theirs! I love ensuring the student understands the topic in which I love. It would be best to teach a student in high school or below to ensure I understand the topic!

Details
As a college student, I know what it feels like to try to rake in enough money to get tutoring, and it shouldn't cost you an arm and a leg to pass math. The base pay for online tutoring is 12 dollars, however if it is in person, the price will increase depending on the distance, which can be discussed. I am always willing to work with someone on prices because I believe all students deserve education.
