About Nate
I have been a Team Leader in my high school's Technology Academy, and have been looked up to by both students and teachers alike.
I will answer questions that you might have, but ultimately, it is up to the tutee to solve problems. I will also reinforce understanding by asking questions of my own.
I have always arrived early to work. Punctuality will never be an issue.

What sets me apart as a tutor is punctuality and versatility. I have never been late to a tutoring job, usually arriving five-fifteen minutes early, ready to go. For versatility, I have taken harder courses, like Calculus III, as well as out of the way courses, like Euclidean Geometry and Decision-Making Under Uncertainty. I also have extensive experience in high-school level SAT math and IXL courses.
Lessons range from all High School math courses to College level courses (up to Calculus II).
-Begin session by getting to know tutee, asking what they want to accomplish, and answering any preliminary questions they might have.
- Uses a passive approach. Will not answer the problem for the tutee, but asks questions on what they already know, so the answer can arrive by itself. Alternatively, I may solve a similar problem step-by-step to help them learn how to solve a problem.
- Uses a question-wise testing approach to gauge understanding on the Bloom Taxonomy scale.
