About Amanda
My name is Amanda, and I'm a patient and experienced teacher. I help students from all different levels, like helping star students to excel while also helping students who dislike math make it become their favorite subject! I'm an undergraduate at the University of Moratuwa, in Sri Lanka. I'm working towards a bachelor's honors degree in Information Technology, while teaching subjects that I loved at school! Math was my favorite followed, closely by physics. These are the subjects I'm teaching kids now, making sure they understand and learn to love math and physics the way I do. I'm patient and kind, and I teach in an easy to understand way, starting straight from the basics. I love teaching, and all the joy it brings.

I'm an experienced teacher, with 2 years of in-person tuition and 3 years of online tutoring. I'm well familiar with online teaching and I have a flexible schedule. I understand what it's like to have trouble with Math, which is why I teach patiently and I'm open to answering all your questions. My students know that I'm always there for them, and that if they need a tutor who really helps them with school, they have me. Mathematics doesn't have to be difficult, it can be a subject you love! Come with me, and help your child become a pro at math. Due to the requests from parents, I have also started tutoring physics for GCSEs. We can battle your doubts and worries in the field of physics, and make you fearless! A normal lesson from me would be a very active lesson, where the student is required to answer lots of questions and work through a lot of practice questions. The more questions the students deal with, the better they get. Let's work together to make your child, a pro at math (and physics)!
