About Christine
Mathematics has not always come easily to me. In fact, I failed my first Additional Mathematics examination in Form 4. At that time, I was discouraged and doubted whether I would ever be able to do well in the subject.
Everything changed when I met an exceptional teacher who patiently guided me through the fundamentals, helped me understand the concepts, and gave me the confidence to believe in my own abilities. With less than a year of consistent effort and the right guidance, I went from failing to achieving **A+ in SPM Additional Mathematics, Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry**.
That experience inspired me to become the kind of tutor who made such a difference in my own academic journey. I understand the challenges students face because I have been in their shoes. My goal is not simply to help students score better grades, but to help them develop confidence, enjoy learning, and realize that improvement is always possible with the right approach and consistent practice.
I later graduated with a **Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from Universiti Malaya**, after achieving a **4.00 CGPA in Matriculation** and receiving multiple Dean's Awards during my degree. These achievements were built on perseverance rather than natural talent, and they continue to shape the way I teach today.
Whether you are struggling to pass or aiming for an A+, I will tailor each lesson to your needs and support you every step of the way. My hope is that every student leaves my class not only with stronger mathematical skills, but also with greater confidence in their own potential.

I believe that every student can excel in Mathematics with the right guidance and learning approach. My teaching focuses on building a strong understanding of fundamental concepts before moving on to more challenging questions. Rather than encouraging students to memorise formulas, I explain the reasoning behind each method so they can confidently solve unfamiliar problems.
Lessons are personalised based on each student's current level, strengths, and areas for improvement. During each session, I identify common mistakes, reinforce key concepts, and provide step-by-step guidance using exam-style questions to strengthen problem-solving skills and boost confidence.
A typical lesson lasts 1.5 to 2 hours, allowing sufficient time for concept explanation, guided practice, and discussion. I also provide tips for tackling examination questions efficiently and can assist with homework, assignments, and revision where needed.
I am a Universiti Malaya Mechanical Engineering graduate with a strong academic background, including A+ in SPM Mathematics and Additional Mathematics, Matriculation CGPA 4.00, and multiple Dean's Awards throughout my degree. My lessons are suitable for students taking SPM, IGCSE, O-Level, STPM, A-Level, Foundation, Diploma, and University Engineering Mathematics, including subjects such as Calculus and Engineering Mathematics.
